Vodafone introduces 3.5G HSDPA based Wi-Fi router ‘Mi-Fi’

  • With the launch of 3G services Vodafone has introduced a mobile Wi Fi router branded as Mi-Fi which can be used to share internet with upto 5 users/devices simultaneously. This 3.5G HSDPA  based device is very much like Tata Photon Wi-Fi Pocket Router which is EVDO based and D-Link 3.5G HSDPA Router but Mi-Fi  comes with an advantage of offering higher speeds of 7.2Mbps and it can be a very useful device to create a small Wi-Fi zone with full mobility for 5 users . It offers complete portability and does not require any software installation. Vodafone   Mi-Fi features an attractive and compact design with 3.5G HSDPA compatibility which offers speed up to 7.2Mbps. It is plug and play device and offers a battery life of 4 hours. While Tata Photon Wi-Fi Router is available for Rs6499  Vodafone has priced Mi Fi at Rs 5500 although its data plans have yet to be unveiled.
