DIFFERENCE BETWEEN IDEA 3G TARIFFS AND OTHER PRIVATE OPERATORS 3G TARIFFS PLANS

Idea Cellular has launched its 3G services in circles of Madhya Pradesh & Chattisgarh Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat and with this now almost all major private telecom players are in the fray of  rolling out of their 3G services in different parts of the country.  Although Vodafone has introduced its 3G services with lot of heavy duty promotions but their 3G tariffs have yet to be revealed. On tariff front state run telecom PSUs MTNL and BSNL continue to be most economical in 3G services so we are going to draw some comparison of 3G data packs/tariffs of private operators to get an idea how competitively they have been priced.

Among private operators Tata Docomo offers higher free data usage in its 3G data packs than others and its data charges in 3G postpaid plans is attractively priced at 1p/10KB. Reliance Mobile on the other hand has better range of 3G data packs and has data charges of 1p/10KB in 3G certain postpaid plans although normal data usage charges of 10p/10KB from most of the operators  may seem to be on a higher side when compared with Aircel’s data charges of 3p/10KB. Idea Cellular has priced its data charges for Dongle plans at 5p/10KB compared to data charges for mobile plans at 10p/10KB.
