MTNL has slashed international calls to landline numbers in Japan

After reducing call rates to Japan from its landline/VCC services, state run telecom PSU MTNL has now extended the benefit to its mobile users as well. MTNL has slashed international calls to landline numbers in Japan from Rs 5 /min to Rs 1.25/min and calls to  mobile numbers from Rs 5/min to Rs 4/min for all its customers . MTNL landline/ VCC/ mobile customers can now interact with their friends and family at these subsidised call charges. Aircel and MTS are other two operators which have recently reduced calls to Japan which suffered major devastation by earthquake and tsunami. MTNL users can avail these subsidized call charges till 31^st March
