MTS launches ‘MTS Pulse’ Android Smartphone from HTC

Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), telecom service provider, announced the achievement of 10 million customer base in India. While celebrating the achievement, company launched its first Android device “MTS Pulse” from HTC. The company with 5 lakhs customers using its high Speed Mobile Internet services, announced bundling of newly launched MTS Pulse from HTC with its monthly rental Plan of Rs 1500. The customer choosing a monthly rental plan of Rs 1500 with minimum commitment of 12 months will get a FREE  MTS Pulse from HTC priced at Rs 18000.  Apart from the FREE smartphone worth Rs 18000, the subscriber will also enjoy free 1500 minutes, 1500 SMSs and 1500 MB data usage every month for 12 months.

MTS Pulse an Android Smartphone runs on Google Android 2.1 (Eclair) and equipped with 5MP auto focus camera, 3.2 inch TFT-LCD Capacitive touch-sensitive screen with 320 x 480 HVGA resolution and a 528 MHz Qualcomm processor. The device uses dual band CDMA network and consists of internal GPS antenna. MTS Pulse may be converted to a modem and connected to local Wi-Fi network for getting high speed internet access. The MTS Pulse from HTC comes packed with default external memory of 8GB and its external memory can be expanded upto 32GB. It is also powered with internal onboard memory of 512 MB flash ROM and 288 MB RAM. Its unique HTC Footprint feature helps to memorise the footprint by saving photo of a location alongwith a precise GPS position and location information.
