TATA DOCOMO Launches Mega Cricket Contest

TATA DOCOMO gears up to capitalize on prevailing world cup fervor in India by launching Mega Cricket Contest. This SMS based contest gives Docomo customers a chance to win Rs.25000/- daily  by answering questions based on the game and one lucky winner will win Hyundai i10 car at the end of contest.

Subscribers can participate in the contest by sending SMS  ’SUB LOOT’ to 57775 chargeable at Rs.5/- daily. Then the customer can answer the questions based on game and scores 1 run for each correct answer. Each SMS will be charged at Re.1 . The highest scorer of the day will get Rs.25000 worth gift voucher. Additionally, customers will also get three exciting cricket trivia alerts daily as the gratification for the daily Rs 5/ticket.

To play the contest in English, customers need to SMS ‘ SUB LOOT E’ (toll free) to 57775, post subscribing to the contest. Everyday there will be a ‘scorer of the day’ who will win the prize money where as the bumper prize winner will be announced post the culmination of the contest. Customers who have not subscribed to the contest can play the contest by sending‘loot, a, b’ to 57775 at Rs 3/SMS. Each response will be charged at Rs. 3/-. This contest is open to all existing TATA DOCOMO pre-paid and post-paid customers till 02 April 2011. The  Mega Cricket Contest  can be played in eleven regional languages (English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Gujarati, Kannada, Punjabi, Oriya, Bengali, Malayalam and Marathi).
