Wanna win Samsung Galaxy tab: Caste your Vote for Airtel brand symbol name

After its re branding exercise and new logo, Airtel decided to crowdsource its brand name symbol . Airtel has      been running Name Game contest to solicit names from people.
Out of the total 1.47 lacs entries, the company has shortlisted 3 entries and is inviting people to vote for these names. These three entries are Wave, Hug & Curve. The entry which will finally be selected will get his one wish fulfilled.below given are the three entries alongwith the contestants  wishes . So far the name “Wave ” is leading having secured around 50 % of the casted votes. The name Curve is so far out of contest.
The voters too will be rewarded and few luck ones will get free Samsung galaxy Tab, so all those who could’t participate earlier can do so now and get a chance to win Samsung’s iPad.
Through this exercise of crowdsourcing the brand symbol name, Airtel has enhanced its target audience engagement with the brand and thus this contest  helped in strengthening of the brand . Such an exercise is logical move as it compliments the company’s brand awareness and brand building campaigns.
