MTNL revises VDSL Broadband tariff

  • State-owned Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited has recently revised it VDSL Broadband rates in Mumbai and Delhi telecom circles. MTNL VDSL Broadband over landline copper pair supports download speed up to 20 Mbps. Presently, MTNL is charging Rs 4999 monthly for high speed VDSL services. Under its VDSL_Combo_4999 plan free data usage of 20 GB per month is now revised to 50 GB. Also, in order to encourage more usage, additional data charges of 20 paise per MB have been revised to 10 paise per MB for 51 GB to 120 GB, and 5 paise per MB beyond 120 GB usage. Additionally, now customer will also get 200 monthly free calls and 2 free static IP addresses which are much useful for customers running small and medium businesses. Since MTNL is only charging Download data usage and uploads are completely free, this plan is ideal and much cost effective for those customers sharing huge amount of data on internet cloud.
