1. Target a Keyword

   Just select a good keyword which you think it can drive you more traffic. Your page title must contain the targeting keyword. It’s better to start your title with that keyword.

2. Optimize the Page with that Keyword

   Insert the selected keyword in all your meta data (meta tag, meta description and meta title). Make sure your content includes the keyword and other related words. For example, If you are optimizing a weight loss post, make sure your article contain the phrases like weight loss, how to decrease my weight, tips to become slim, how to reduce fat and so on.

3. Build ‘Anchor text Optimized’ Backlinks

   The word you’re using for linking to a hyperlink is known as Anchor Text. You must use your targeted keyword as the anchor text whenever you links to that specific page.
