Samsung Galaxy S Won The ‘Smartphone of the Year’ Award in Gadget Guru Awards 2010-11 - FRENDZARENA

Samsung Galaxy S won Gadget Guru Award 2011 for being ‘the Smartphone of the Year’ while Nokia C3 was awarded ’Budget Phone of the Year’ in an event organized at Nautanki Mahal in Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. But  it was Microsoft Kinect and Apple iPad which  stole the show by claiming awards in major categories of the show that represented innovation . Apple iPad was adjudged ‘Computing device of the year’ as well as ‘NDTV Gadget of the Year- Jury’s Choice’ while Microsoft Kinect was awarded ‘NDTV Gadget of the Year- Viewers’ Choice’, ‘Innovation of the year’ and ‘Gaming Hardware of the Year’. Gadget Guru Awards 2011 have been instituted to honour innovation and products that truly made a difference in the field of Consumer Electronics, Gadgets and Technology.   The event was hosted by Vikram Chandra , Rajiv Makhni and Gauhar Khan.
