Google Page Rank Update (June 2011) Rolling Out – Things To Remember
After the big waves of Google Panda, PageRank update is slowly rolling out. Webmasters started noticing the changes from Monday morning. In my case, Mextena got its PageRank decreased to PageRank 3, which was earlier PageRank 4. Maybe this is a punishment from Google for not taking care of this blog for months.
Three Things You Must Remember About Page Rank Update
- PageRank update process will last for about a week, and the already updated ranks are subject to change. So do not worry if your ranks decreased surprisingly. It happened with Mextena last time, as it was down to Pagerank 0 in the first few days of updating process; which later increased to PR4.
- PageRank is a link analysis algorithm to value your website. It has nothing to do with SERPs and traffic. Do not get broken if this was a bad day for you. In the other hand, high pagerank blogs do have more reputation and advertising potentials.
- You require effective high PR backlinks to increase your Pagerank. It must come natural; or you have to work hard for it.
